Extinct Embroidery : Ivory Billed Woodpecker

Join Solstice Handmade for a night of stitching and socializing surrounded by artwork at Lions & Rabbits Gallery.

We will cover 4 basic embroidery stitches to complete this design of an Eastern Elk, declaired extinct in 1880. We will talk about the history of the animal and what lead to its decline.

Participants will create a stitched work of art that can be used as a gift, wall hanging, or sewn into something else!

This class is fit for both beginners and pros, the class will be split into small groups with periodic demos by Instructor Dayna Walton to allow for all to work at their own pace. Ages 14+ please!

All supplies included, each participant will recieve a printed sampler to stitch, a hoop, thread, needle, and instructional sheet.
