Plant sale for the community
On Saturday, July 19, the conference opens to the public from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Ramsey Center on WCU’s campus. Community members are invited to attend free educational sessions and explore a native plant sale in the main arena.
“We really want to push more people to come to the plant sale and the free sessions happening on that day,” said Brittany Marshall, associate director of continuing education at WCU.
Vendors will sell a wide variety of native plants, books and gardening resources. Most will accept credit cards and carts will be available for hauling purchases, though guests are welcome to bring their own wagons.
Parking is available in WCU’s parking garage near the Ramsey Center.
